ArborXR headset casting

Show an ArborXR headset on any HDMI display.

XRosk turns a nearby TV, monitor, or projector into an automatic audience view. When real headset video arrives, the display switches to the live experience. When those frames stop, it returns to the video or image you chose.

Set it up once

A persistent casting setup instead of a repeated demo ritual.

  1. 01

    Connect the display

Attach a supported Raspberry Pi or compact Linux Mini PC to the display over HDMI.

  2. 02

    Pair the kiosk device

Use the on-screen code to add the display appliance to your XRosk organization.

  3. 03

    Assign an ArborXR headset

Choose which managed headset should appear on that display.

  4. 04

    Choose the idle media

Select the video or image that should play whenever the live headset is not sending frames.

Frame-aware switching

Connected is not the same as visible.

A casting session can remain connected even when usable video is no longer arriving. XRosk waits for real frames before showing the headset and switches away when those frames stop.

Waiting

Play locally stored branded media.

Casting

Show the live headset once video frames arrive.

Reset

Return to the assigned media when frames stop.
