Supported hardware

A small kiosk device between the ArborXR headset and the big screen.

XRosk runs on a Raspberry Pi or compact Linux Mini PC connected directly to an HDMI display. The kiosk device stays paired, stores the selected idle media locally, and reconnects to the assigned headset automatically.

HDMI display

Use a TV, monitor, projector, or other display with an available HDMI input.

Raspberry Pi 4 or 5

A small dedicated appliance for a display that should stay paired and ready between sessions.

Compact Linux Mini PC

Use a compatible Mini PC when that form factor is a better fit for the installation.

ArborXR-managed headset

Assign the headset that should cast to the display from the XRosk portal.

What stays on the kiosk

The selected fallback media is ready locally.

The assigned video or image downloads to the kiosk device, so it is ready for the next idle period without being fetched every time the stream stops.

What you manage remotely

Pairing, headset assignment, media, and presence.

Use the portal to pair kiosk devices, change the assigned ArborXR headset or idle media, and see whether each display appliance is online.
